Adopt-a-Trail Program

Adopt-A-Trail empowers off-road enthusiasts to take ownership of the places they love by helping maintain, protect, and preserve our nation’s trail systems.

Keeping off roading trails clean!

The USOffRoad Adopt-A-Trail program is designed to connect local volunteers, clubs, and businesses with specific trails in their region. When a group adopts a trail, they commit to helping monitor conditions, remove litter, report issues, and support responsible recreation efforts throughout the year.
Each adopted trail receives ongoing attention from its sponsoring team, ensuring it remains safe, open, and enjoyable for everyone. USOffRoad provides guidance, recognition badges, and tools to help chapters and volunteers stay organized and make an impact.
Adopting a trail doesn’t mean taking on the role of law enforcement or land management—it simply means being good stewards. Your efforts help reduce closures, protect wildlife habitats, and build strong partnerships with local land managers.
Whether you’re an individual rider, a family, a business, or a full off-road club, adopting a trail is one of the most meaningful ways to give back to the off-road community. Together, we can keep America’s trails open, clean, and thriving for generations to come.
